driveshaft circlip size

My driveshaft has popped out of the knuckle of the hub on the passenger side front.
Does anyone know what size the circlip are so I can buy some incase mine is missing or broken.

No idea on size of the c-clip, expect someone could post you one, shortshaft should have clip stay on shaft while long ones clip stays in transfer box. Have a look and see if shortshaft is still actually in box.
probably find they same as other n14 n15 p11 shaft clips !
for sure one of the uk boys going have one which would be simple solution, johnny probably got 21 of them :-) .

Is your nut on the end of the shaft tight mate not heard of this happening. I am away but if you get stuck will sort one when I am back mate

think i read this wrong as rereading I assume you mean the shaft came out from the out cv joint !? those clips pretty easy come across .

The shaft is still in the gearbox.
Its the other end that goes into the knuckle that holds the ball bearings.
You split it to swap the gator over.
I'm not 100% sure it needs a circlip.
I turned the wheel and looked under and the gator has come off and I coukd see the splines on the end of the shaft and the bearings had come out of the knuckle.
My brother is coming over Saturday morning to sort it for me.

I have being ill! I coukd have it sorted in 30 minutes if I was well enough

sounds like the hub bearing clip is missing too then if hub bearing moved out, the cv joint will also have a c clip locking the shaft to the joint inner spider . Should be easy enough sort out, new hub bearing kit is cheap enough . that cv joint clip likely still inside the assembly but if not it easy got hold of and complete cv joint is cheap .

Hopefully the CV clip has just come out and is still there.
I have some driveshaft to collect next week so can swap the whole driveshaft then if need be..

Those stupid clips are a pain in the arse, I had all sorts of problems with one when I was changing boots

Never mind, easy quick and cheap fix :-D
they cheap buy too if you not already got a spare but don't buy cheapest junk as material quality is piss poor . ADL do complete kit with joint boot and grease (ADN18923) and can be found for about £35 and it decent quality, I tried cheaper ones and they break quite easy doing few drag runs .

I have ordered a new one off ebay. Only £27
I have some driveshafts to collect but haven't had chance.
So will keep them as spares in case the one I buy fails.
I don't do drag racing so should hold up okay

^ never know what you'll be doing when go out for a drive through in the midlands lol :-D
£27 joint likely pretty good, I had 2 at around 16-17GBP each and while fitted fine and worked fine in basic use good bit of launching at drag days killed both of them :-D You could see material and machining wasn't best, buy cheap buy twice lol, I was smart or stupid enough buy 2 to start with lol . ADL hold up good and quality difference was massive in comparison . Rather bust CV's than gearboxes though :-P

Yeah definitely cheaper than changing a gearbox lpl
Hopefully it turns up quick. I'm house bound until it arrives ffs lol

New cv joint arrived and installed
I just have to fit a new circlip.
