Ive done a few gearbox rebuilds in my time and im following the workshop manual to the letter,
ive removed all ball detents, reverse gear shaft and reverse mechanism.
The manual then states remove the roll pins that fix the forks to the rails but they will not budge and im reluctant to hit them out too hard.
In any case On most gearboxes the shaft assemblies and shifter forks can be removed as a complete set, which i tried. It comes out about a cm but stops.
can anyone offer any advice on what to do next?
