depends if your freehub on the wheel is a Campagnolo fitment or shimano, if its Campagnolo then that cassete will fit fine, if not you'll need to get a shimano one. Obvs number of gears needs to match whatever freehub body you have Smile

Hi Stu, it depends how many teeth you have on your largest chain rings (52? 50?) & how many links in your chain (114- 118?) A cassette with a largest sprocket of say 25 teeth, chain ring 50 teeth will typically need a chain with 116 links. Cassette with largest sprockets of say 28 teeth would need a longer (118 link) chain. Using a chain rivet extractor tool you can reduce the links of a 118 link chain to suit. Its very easy compared  to car mechanics!

You're meant to be riding the bike not your thumbs ! :-)
One of the best things I done to an old mountain bike was investing in a decent seat. Don't think I would attempt the racer, gives me pain just looking at the rims, seat & handlebars.

I think I love bikes more than cars, and the great thing is when you get fit you can eat as much as you like and never put on any weight. Many years ago I used to race on the road and train about 200/300 miles a week.you literally can't eat enough food.

Hahaha i wont be buying any cycle tops. But shorts for comfort i might Smile
Hopefully as soon as i have built my leg muscles up. I will be doing some long distances Smile
My road bike is just to get me into cycling. If i like it and keep it up. I will eventually upgrade Smile
Its been years since i last cycled. The last shop bought racer was a raleigh eclipse back in 1990 or 1991.
Im enjoying it so far Smile
