My car was hit a month ago where the third party was at fault, lorry drove into me at 10mph, buckling the wheel and denting a few panels.

The damage wasn't too bad so I drove it home, car was pulling heavy to one side and steering wheel felt lighter then normal.

Anyway long story short, car was taken by an insurance approve garage and repaired to a very high standard, brand new parts but when I drove it, its's still pulling and the steering wheel is still too light, the guy said the tracking was done and that it's normal for it to pull, he goes you get torque steer on civic type r's which I agree on but not at 20mph on light throttle.

They've took the car again but he told me their body work specialist and not mechanics, where do I stand with my insurance company if I'm not happy with the way it drives, I've owned the car for about 2 years and I know how it drove before the accident, I should have took the money when the insurance company offered it me but it's one of the best cars I've driven, good on fuel and never let me down once

Get onto your insurance and tell them its not right and that you know a specialist. (Gti-r-us.co.uk) Get a quote off Bob to have it inspected and get the insurance to covet it and any additional work needed doing.

yes as above fella
the car should not pull to one side at any time unless theres a front diff fitted which will give you a degree of torque steer so there clearly is a problem

we will be willing to help if you need us but don't know where you are based

Bob thanks for the offer mate I will keep that in mind, I'll give the garage one more chance then I'll get the ball rolling with the insurance company, it's a bit weird to describe the feeling I get through the steering wheel but sounds as if something's rubbing or scratching just don't feel right, just wanted to see if anyone else has had experience with an insurance approved repair they were not happy with

Have a visual check make sure nothings rubbing ie plastic inner archs or similar but i would imagine a four wheel laser alignment will give you a clue as to if its out ...
