This is actually Gary's 2nd R, the first black one was written off so he bought the grey one and had Olly in Haywards heath build it back up to spec.
When he packed it in there was a skip full of parts outside his house!

Customers Cars - Garys 433bhp GTi-RGary is a long time customer of ours, and us such this car has had a lot of input from us along the way.

This not so subtle beast started its life in Japan with just 220bhp, and even the stock performance specifications speak for themselves. However like all new cars they are built with compromise, and a willingness to spend some time effort and money to rework these can have some astounding results.

This example now boasts a specification list as long as your arm and with a proven 433bhp and 410lb/ft from one of our remapped ECUs running a forged engine on one of our GTi-R 3071R turbos at only 1.6 bar shows how well its making this power.
It would and could have done much more, but lets not forget this is a daily driver, and since Gary was more than happy with 400bhp we decided this would be a good point to stop.

i'm asking me about the engine, when all said fully forged engine...what does it mean? forge pistons, H forged conrods....what else??

Forged piston normally what it mean, maybe conrods but as standard rods good for serious power not needed really & money better spent on porting & top engine machine work.
Forged means very little really & more important is finer details & who built it plus figures & report on engines current health.

yes H beam rods are not needed unless your seriously upping the rpm limit......which is a no go with shims and solid lifters lol recipe for disaster!


just got back with the other big powered car from trl
and it is a beast  
the car has been wrapped in satin black and carbonfibre looks very stealth like
loads of goodies on this car and some unusual bits too if not more stuff than garys car.

what a long drive though I left at 6.30 this morning and just got back
was running almost 10 sec qualters evidently
