The 3 pin connector is the level sensor. The 2 pin is the battery feed. One of the wires on the 2 pin connector has a red stripe If I remember correctly. That is your positive feed.

You can test it by supplying it with a 12v source.

Some better ways of doing this, keeping relays to minimum & using original ecu switching feed & new relay with new wiring in original position is neater way of doing it unless battery in boot, even then you best bridging the ecu switch over using the high amp pump circuit as the new relay switch feed.
