that's not new this stuffs been around for years
its used on self cleaning glass on conservatories

it does not last long though before it loses its repellent, think its also the same stuff as rainx you put on car windscreens, good for a little while but soon as you use your wipers its no good again lol

PPG surface seal is the daddy, we use it at work, it has a primer for the glass which the coating bonds to, lasts for months and dead easy to apply.

But at $550 a box, which is a 1 use kit, it's a bit pricey.
